Job Title: Freelance Creative Assistant
Location: Remote (In-person, London-based from August)
Hours: 16 hours/week over two days (with opportunity for more during busy periods)
Start Date: ASAP      
Rate: London Living Wage £13.15 per hour  (rate will be higher if any weekend or out of regular hours work is required).

About the Role:
I'm a London-based photographer seeking a highly organised, creative, and proactive Freelance Creative Assistant to help support the day-to-day running of my studio. This is a dynamic and varied role ideal for someone who’s interested in the creative industry and looking to grow their experience within photography, content creation, and creative production.

The role is part-time (16 hours/week) spread over two days to start, with the potential for more hours during busy periods. The position will begin remotely and transition to in-person work at a London-based studio from August.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and organising shoots (mood boards, call sheets, location and talent research)
  • Help manage and update creative project timelines and task lists
  • Support with image curation, basic editing, file organisation, and delivery
  • Maintain and update social media and website content
  • Handle light administrative duties (invoicing, scheduling, inbox support)
  • Research creative trends, collaborators, and references
  • Support on set during shoots (once role becomes in-person)
  • Other ad hoc tasks as needed to keep projects running smoothly

  • Ideal Candidate:

    • Highly organised, with a keen eye for detail
    • Strong communication and time-management skills
    • Interest in photography, creative production, or visual arts
    • Familiarity with tools like Google Drive, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Lightroom), CaptureOne and social media platforms
    • Previous experience in a creative or assistant role is a bonus but not essential
